GENERAL
Any goods purchased from Silverton Radiator Brake and Clutch (Gaborone) (Pty) Ltd returned as “claims” or “come back” jobs will only be considered upon the Customer producing the original invoice or cash sale.
All warranties remain valid on the work carried out only and carry no liability to strip and assemble the parts from any vehicle or the labour costs thereof.
A 15% handling fee will be charged on any goods returned for credit. Returns will not be accepted after 7 days from date of purchase. The goods being returned must be in exactly the same condition as received, including all packaging.
No complaints will be accepted after 7 days of purchase. Such complaints must be in writing, failing which the Buyer will renounce any rights that he may have against the Seller.
Vehicles are driven and parked at owner’s risk. We accept no responsibility for any damage to property or personal possessions left in the vehicle.
BRAKES
In the event of any damages/breakages caused whilst removing wheel nuts, lock nuts and studs, due to over tightening, cross threading or rust, we cannot be held liable or responsible to pay for replacement parts.

CLUTCH PLATES
All clutch plates relined carry a warranty providing there is no contamination such as grease, oil or brake fluid on the friction material.
RADIATORS
New Original Equipment radiators and condensers carry a 6 month warranty providing they are installed by an approved agent and that the engine is flushed and our coolant is used.
New Alternative Range radiators and condensers carry a 3 month warranty providing they are installed by an approved agent and that the engine is flushed and our coolant is used.
Clean and repair as well as recore radiators have a limited warranty of 3 months.
Repair only jobs and fuel tanks carry no warranty.
CLUTCHES
New clutch kits sold carry a limited warranty providing the flywheel has been machined by Silverton Radiator Brake and Clutch (Gaborone) (Pty) Ltd.
New clutch kits sold carry a limited warranty providing they are installed by a qualified mechanic, with experience, in a fully equipped workshop.
New clutch kits are preset at the factory and should not require any adjustments.
The warranty is limited as we do not witness the fitting of a clutch. We take no liability for misalignment, setting up or adjustments.
BRAKE LININGS – FRICTION MATERIAL – LIGHT AND HEAVY DUTY
All brake linings supplied and fitted to brake shoes carry a limited warranty providing the drums have been machined at the time of reline by Silverton Radiator Brake and Clutch (Gaborone) (Pty) Ltd.
All brake linings carry a limited warranty providing there is no contamination such as grease, oil or brake fluid on the friction material.
All brake linings carry a limited warranty providing they are installed by a qualified mechanic, with experience, in a fully equipped workshop.
The warranty is limited as we do not witness the fitting of brake shoes and cannot be liable for misalignment, setting or adjustment.
Bonded brake pads have no warranty.
AUTO ARMOR
2 in 1 Paint Protection Treatments carry a 3 year limited warranty providing the vehicle has reapplication treatments every 6 months for a period of 3 years. The warranty shall become void should any reapplication treatment be missed. It is imperative to stick to 6 month intervals.
